To mark 60 years of the Declaration on Non-Christian Religions of the Second Vatican Council (Nostra Aetate) an event was held in Upton Park under the leadership of Fr Britto Belevendran, Brentwood diocesan lead on interfaith relations. The evening was attended by people of various faiths. Fr Adrian Graffy gave a presentation of Nostra Aetate entitled ‘God of all peoples’, in which he traced the origin of the declaration, its impact, and its continuing importance in the life of the Church in the papacies of Pope Francis and Pope Leo.
A recording of this event will appear here shortly.
